Sustainable design just got smarter

The new e-DEA web based software allows industrial or product designers and manufacturers to perform life cycle assessment (LCA) on their products and define the environmental impact at any stage of development.

• e-DEA is easy to use by non-LCA experts, with less than a half day of training, designers can engage in science based modeling of their products impacts and quickly compare alternative designs.
• e-DEA allows for informed decision making regarding sustainability issues at the earliest stages of the design process so that subsequent material acquisition, manufacturing, packaging and distribution are environmentally responsible and comply with regulatory requirements and accurate product labeling.
• e-DEA can be adapted to individual work environments to accommodate issues related to terminology or processes. It allows design teams worldwide to share LCA results and collaborate, hiding confidential information if necessary.
